This song is an emotional journey from beginning to end. Starting with a swaying acoustic guitar part and soft, melodic vocals, the track draws the listener in. Then the beat picks up a bit which would make someone think that the lyrics would become more uplifting, but they actually become more pessimistic and critical. The part of the song that always brings tears to my eyes is at about 4:50, when the words and emotions are so honest and universal that one can't help but be deeply affected by them. Every time I listen to this song I hear some new subtlety that I didn't notice before, and I can't listen to it without crying.

Damn did this song wake me up. Whenever I listen to it now, I know the suprise is coming, but I prepare for it so much that my heart begins to beat with nervousness until it actually happens... it's like an orgasm.
