This song is by far my absolute favorite, everytime i hear it, it gets better and better, Seriously i get chills from this song, and pure happiness. I just love love, love it!
So, I heard Siberian Breaks before I heard Metanoia...but all I can say is wow. Words can't even explain how I really feel about this song. The first time I heard it, it sent chills up my spine and I almost cried...really. This song is just a masterpiece all over. I mean really, is there anything MGMT can't do?? I AM IN LOVE WITH THESE GUYS I SWEAR!!!!
Siberian Breaks is good but metanoia is the original for sure. if i had to show someone a song that embodies all the music i like and the way mgmt makes me feel, id instantly show them this song. best mgmt song evah!
The way metanoia goes on for 13 mins reminds me of siberian breaks. Mgmt suprised me with this one.. i didnt think i could hear anything better till i heard metanoia. Lovin it
Let me just say that for someone my age, the people i'm surrounded by and the music that plays for my generation is s***. i have only listen to the good s*** from the 60s and 70s. MGMT is the only modern day band that i find myself loving to pieces. They remind me of Arthur Lee & Love. <3 dont ever change!
This is certainly one of my favorites by MGMT. It's rhapsodic form really demonstrates the talent that Andrew and Ben have as writers. With that being said, I really wish that the A portion (metanoia, reshaping the world...) would recapitulate at the end of the song. Though this concept may be a "pop cliché," (not to mention you guys do bring at least the texture back at 6:50,) I could really use that identical A idea to end the song, it's such a great motive. But other than that, every part in this song is powerful enough to be each its own song, very well constructed, and I love the clarinet in there. Thanks for giving me a reason to wake up each morning, your music is an inspiration to me, I hope one day I can write 75% as well as you guys, not to be a sycophant. I've got the backbone.

This song is so great! I love it!! And it shows a lot of talent because it's about 14 minutes and there are lyrics through the entire song. And it doesn't sound like one song which makes the song not become tiring after listening to it three or four times.
seriusly.....omg! is just great and the end is so magical!!!! omg im never tire to hear this song every morning before to go to school in my bus...you know..see the cars passing by the road so fast...i mean...i feel just peace in that 14 minutes of great music thinking in the live and everything else!....great opus...you guys are able to make this king of great music...love u!
Seriously my favorite song by you guys. Catchy, psychedelic, shows how talented you f***ers are, drums are excellent, laid back as hell guitar solo/instrumental section.
And the ending, dear god. It's electronic f***ing bliss.
I'm a great admirer of MGMT, and I am really excited to purchase this vinyl soon! I love the song, and i hope to see you guys live in San Diego soon! It's gonna be awesome!
