What genre are you guys in and what are your major musical influences?

Okay, first of all, MGMT is more of an experience than a band. My favorite. But, my question is if you could travel back in time, where would you go to and why?

I'm Stephen "Captain" Wozniak from a techno duo called "HeroesOfTheDay." Firstly, you two argh tight! Actually question: my band mate and I are...pretty much broke. We have one keyboard and a laptop to create everything, no speakers of our own either. What is your guyzezz words of wisedom for playing a show? All we can do so far is play a few chords in between songs as we talk a lil' and than press play on my lappytop, so we feel a lil' lame.

I'm sure you get questions all the time from fans asking you to come to their town and whatnot but I would really love it if you came to Dallas. There are a lot of fans here i know who would greatly appreciate it. The closest thing to Dallas that you've played recently is Austin for Funfunfun fest but it would seriously be great if you came straight to Dallas. Thank you. Your music inspires me.
