I LOVE Congratulations I think it's the best Song on the whole album!!
Especially the video =)
It's so great they used some German in their Flash Delirium
the german in flash delirum means: "the clouds"... and then just "surround"..
I can't help myself I can just constantly listen to MGMT. All the other music I like, I hear in timeperiods, always deepending on my moods and what's going on in my life, everything except MGMT. They simply divine.
Oh and I love Brian Eno, and it's just amazing that there is now a song about him, made by one of my favorite bands ever!
yesterday, i went to the record store after school, bought CONGRATULATIONS, and listened to it all night.
it was just magic.
this song is very refreshing and a very great opener. it's very different than the other songs, but it still sounds like MGMT.
it reminds me a little of Metanoia, i don't know why. and i love the omnichord. (:
can't wait for the video!
SONG FOR DAN TREACY
i just love this song. i love when Andrew talks fast ("Or maybe half of his time, or part of the time...").
it has got a great tempo, and it's like a little story. everytime i listen to it, i see a man who lives this song. in my opinion, the chorus is very dramatic, but i love it.
with every listening i like this song more and more. its a little bit too short, but it reminds me of the beatles.
this song is very insane and magic, but beautiful.
just like andrew and ben (:
i listened to it like a thousand times, but i think it'll never become boring.
i LOVE andrew's fake flute and the genius video clip, of course. and the lyrics.
but i wonder what the german words mean to the song. (;
the end is incredible.
I FOUND A WHISTLE
this song is very hopeful and meditative.
i realized that it's influenced by the beach boys. it's very catchy, but in a good way.
when i listened to it the first time, i thought that i already know the song. i don't know why. it's like an old beatles-song that everybody knows. but i like it!
the text is very epic.
and the music is just hilarious. and so long...after "running away isn't rough, but it's not enough" it's just like a second song.
everytime i listen to this song, i'm in good spirits. the lyrics are very funny and cute. i don't understand why brian eno is offended. i'd be so lucky if you wrote such a georgious track about me ((:
LADY DADA'S NIGHTMARE
when you listen to this track at midnight when you're alone, it can be very frightening.
in my head, i see a creepy old house with a creepy old armchair from the back. there i see a weird woman with big fuzzy hair. i can see her only from the back, but she plays piano.
outside, there's a horrible storm and there are many flashes and lightnings.
she plays like this every night, and exactly at midnight she starts to scream horribly.
she's all alone and nobody can hear her, what makes her even more sad and creepy. //
this song shows that MGMT are amazing composer.
this song was the first i listened to from the album. it's just so honest and simple, but it bamboozles me everytime ((:
the lyrics are diverse and the clapping at the and is just brilliant.
this CD is just a masterpiece, the best, best, best! i'm glad that i live in your century. (;
everyone who buys the CD won't regret it.
so, here's all you need:
a great big
It's just ♥.
what can I say? I like it!
I like the artwork, I love flash delirium, It's working, and congratulations. But i don't like the refrain of Brian Eno that much.
AND I LOVE LADY DADA'S NIGHTMARE MORE AND MORE
I LISTEN TO IT AT LEAST 100 TIMES! ITS JUST AWESOME!
I think everyone, who is listening to the song get's a movie infront of his eye if he listen to that piece of music. And that depends with LadyGaga;-)
Really cynic skit^
Sry I'm from Germany my english isn't that good;-D
